My name is Brian Fox, and I am a music producer, audio engineer, and technician based out of Chicago, Illinois. Throughout my career, I’ve collaborated with a diverse range of artists, including Jon Spencer, Natalie Bergman, Bonny Doon, La Lom, Ganser and many more.
Currently, I am on staff at renowned Electrical Audio as well as running my own private studio, Altered States. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Audio Design and Production from Columbia College and have formerly been on staff at other studios such as Key Club Recording Co. and SOMA Electronic Music Studios.
I utilize a combination of analog and digital equipment for my work, as well as having a background in designing and repairing audio equipment.
In my free time, I run Skibbe Electronics with my friend and associate Bill Skibbe as well as playing in the post-punk band KAPUT.
