I have been producing and recording music for over a decade, and in that time I have been put into a lot of different situations. I originally started off recording bands on cassette four tracks in unfinished basements and went on to earn my Bachelors Degree in Audio Design & Production from Columbia College, complete an internship at Electrical Audio, and work as an engineer at Soma Electronic Music Studios. These days, most of my time is spent at my personal studio, Altered States, as well as in Benton Harbor, MI at Key Club Recording Co. as a staff engineer.

I love working to make each project be the best that it can possibly be. Music is a collaborative experience and I find that most records work best when everyone is working together. I am here to help make the best record possible and I love doing so in whatever way I am needed. Some of my favorite projects that I have produced include Absolutely Not, Wingtips, Evasive Backflip, Flesh Panthers, and Silent Age.

I love getting great tones and working with a wide range of equipment both new and old. I have an extensive amount of experience recording to digital as well as tape and I feel perfectly comfortable working on either format. Some of my favorite studios to record at in Chicagoland include Altered States (my own studio), Key Club Recording Co., Jamdek, and Electrical Audio. I am also more than happy to travel depending your projects particular needs.

Getting the right mix can change everything. I love digging in and really taking a song to the next level by getting the perfect mix. To mix I normally use a combination of analog and digital equipment, this allows me to work efficiently while still getting that great analog sound.
